Introduction to watercolour painting.
Learn a variety of methods including how to stretch and prepare paper, the primary palette and brush techniques. Set in the beautiful countryside and taught in a newly refurbished studio, this course allows you to paint surrounded by nature.
You will learn how to build up the layers of a painting and add tone and highlights to complete a landscape or animal. At the end of the workshop you will be able to mount your work, giving it a professional edge.
Price includes all materials (watercolour paint, paper, brushes etc) and tea and cake. Just turn up!
Would suit beginners. Early bird: £20.00 in advance or £25.00 paid on the day.
